Tomorrow
Will it really come?
And if it does come
Will I still be human?
All I ask of you is one thing that you never do
Would you put your arms around me?
Oh, the pain in my arms
Oh, the pain in my legs
Oh, my shiftless body
Tomorrow
It's surely nearer now
You don't think I'll make it
I never said I wanted to!
- "Tomorrow" by Morrissey.
Don't want to do my accounting homework. Or my Algebra 2 homework. No no no. So I am putting it off. I have been for almost three hours. I could be taking a shower... taking a nap... writing a letter... doing a lot more productive things right now than sitting on my ass. But I perfer to avoid responsibility and obligation.
I bet you all wish you had a hot pink Smiths t-shirt like the one I'm getting from eBay.
I almost killed my dad tonight when I was driving. Well... perhaps killed is a slight exaggeration. But I was pulling into the driveway at my grandparents', and I accidentally put my foot on the gas instead of the brake, nearly smashing into my grandma's parked Cadillac. I am quite possibly the world's worst driver. And that makes me sad.
Interpol in two days.
I am getting excited, bitches...
I'll assume that everyone watched the debate last night and I'll also assume that everyone agrees on the obvious -- Kerry defeated Bush once again. And he will fucking claim the White House in a few weeks. OK, now that we've established that, we can move on with our lives.
I really want an A in my Media Communications class. Is that so much to ask?
Speaking of that class, I have to do a mini photography portfolio as a project. Isn't that mega super neato? I only need to take four photographs: one of a group, one of a subject in motion, one with vast amounts of color, and one for the cover of the project. I thought the portfolio was going to focus on various lighting techniques, such as overhead lighting, side lighting, back lighting, etc., but I guess I was misinformed. Anyway, I like the refined project. It will be a lot easier to get out of the way and a lot easier to ace. Watch me forget to put my name on the cover and fuck up 20 points or something idiotic like that...
I hope that Jessica and I can work more on our music video this weekend. I need to start organizing the formation of the actual video aspect in my mind. I will just sit down, listen to the song on headphones, watch our videotaped footage, and jot down notes that way I'm not a total clusterfuck when it comes time to start editting.
Random factoid: I have never colored my hair. Or highlighted it. Or anything ever. Random yet related survey: Do you think I should experiment and color/streak my hair? If so, what color(s)?
