Did anyone notice my fun new responses to questions in my profile? I am rather proud indeed. Song lyrics provide such good answers to all of life's puzzling questions.

I just finished watching the debate...

The topics that made me especially angry were those concerning the environment, stem-cell research, and abortion.

The president has done NOTHING concerning the improvement of the environment. The only obvious decision made under his administration was to start drilling in one of the few wildlife refuges we have for oil. Oh yes, remind me again how beneficial that is to the environment as a whole? surreal He is so concerned with his fucking oil, he couldn't possibly divert his attention for one second to devise and support another more efficient and environment-friendly method. There are scientists that have the ideas and that have the methods. They just don't have the government support or funding, because, of course, the health and welfare of this country and the world in general is a not a priority of the president.

Secondly, concerning stem-cell research and abortion, the president (as Kerry tactfully pointed out) is making his decision based on his personal moral convictions. And that simply is arrogant and WRONG. Sure, he's a Christian. I have nothing against Christians. But you cannot create a law based on your religious beliefs. Just because he doesn't agree with the idea doesn't mean our country cannot prevail and benefit from the science. This research provides hope and potential cures to illnesses. It is certainly worth every effort. In a somewhat-related matter (as far as personal convictions go), there are many instances where abortion is necessary including incest, rape, and danger to the mother and/or child's life. Pro-choice is NOT pro-abortion. No one wants to take anyone's life. But under certain circumstances, it is necessary, and those circumstances are why abortion should be legal. To be more frank, it's my fucking uterus, not the government's. Abortion is a sensitive issue but realize, Mr. Bush, that if legal and safe practices of abortion become illegal, then many women will seek unsafe methods resulting in severe health problems and death.

OK. So I got my rant out.

I thought that Kerry did another superb job.

Some randomness... here we go... my sister is home for the weekend, so I'm going to try and spend as much time with her as possible... she took my dad and I out to dinner tonight and I had chicken and it was yummy... I have two huge muthafuckin' accounting problems to do this weekend as homework plus more lovely Algebra 2... I want to clean my room this weekend because it is dusty and unorganized and that simply cannot be... I have to paint my nails this weekend because they look hideous... I need monies so that I can go out and buy some MORE batteries and blank CDs and picture frames and a new mousepad and some Swiffer duster thingies... tomorrow I am going out for coffee with my mom and Shannon and I am excited because coffee is ever-so wonderful... I've listened to OK Computer by Radiohead five times in the past 24 hours... as of today, I am going to start drinking more water...

Goodnight my lovelies, for your dear narrator is feeling rather weary.
