Oh, Political Science 150... how I detest thee. How thee bringith me no joy. How I loathe awaking at 9:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays to shower, groom, snack, and trot my way in the cold, up the hill, to sit in your presence and yawn at your content. Please stop. Just stop.

On a merrier note, today is the 15th, officially. That means one more month of school until spring break! And then spring quarter! And then better classes! And the summer! FUCKING A. My winter quarter has been simply dreadful, scholastically-speaking. I believe that my will alone has encouraged its seemingly rapid passing. It seems like it just began. And now it's almost over. But you won't catch any tears trickling down my cheek.

Next quarter I plan on taking the following:
1.) A publication design class... or something like that... it's a Visual Communication class that's next on my list of requirements for my major. Anyway, I'm sure it'll be fine.
2.) A "History of Photography" class, which is not only cool and RELEVANT to me, but offered on-line! (I won't have to leave the comfort of my dorm, and I can work at my own pace.) Plus I already know a bit about the history of photography, so I won't be completely lost, swimming in a vast sea of international foreign policy, proliferation fatalism, economic globalization, or asymmetrical warfare.
3.) A drawing class. Now, although I enjoyed drawing to some extent in high school and was not a TERRIBLE drawer, I am not looking forward to this class. It's a requirement of my major, so I am trying to get it out of the way. The class is three hours long, two days a week. And I don't know if I'm still able to draw well because I haven't done it in about a year. So, yeah.
4.) Another philosophy class, only this time, ETHICS. Not LOGIC, you evil, evil thing. Fuck your Venn diagrams and your truth tables. Applicable to real life in any way, shape, or form? I think not.

I am seeing Brand New on the 16th of March with Dan and ten million other associates of ours. We're all pretty excited because the show sold-out not too long after we purchased our tickets.

My Valentine's Day was giddy even in the absence of my valentine (though it certainly would've been awesometimestwelve if he would've been physically present in Athens yesterday). Early in the day, I got my hair cut. It's a really nice cut. I think for the first time ever I received all-around great service at a salon. I also paid the most I've ever paid at a salon, but a pretty Erica is a happy Erica. Now my hair will grow out properly, and I won't look like a pre-pubescent boy trying to be emo. I'm sure I'll post pictures of the hair eventually, but lately/for the past four months, I haven't felt much like documenting my face. Eh.

I also saw that new Hugh Grant movie and went out to eat with my friends Jill, Roomie Steph, and Shane. Many laughs were had by all, but I think I ate too much blue cheese dressing on my salad/veg sandwich. It was sharp and biting. By the way, I don't generally like chick-flicky movies, but I make exceptions for Hugh Grant, regardless of how much sex he's had to pay for in his life. <-- (Can't imagine why.)

I don't know if it's Athens or college in general, but my body seems to be going through some, well, changes. For instance, I pee all the time now. At least once every hour. And I seem to have an endless appetite. This, of course, has contributed to some weight gain, which has directly contributed to plumper breasts/buttocks... and a tummy at times. Everyone thinks I'm crazy because they can't notice these changes. But being that I've essentially had the same body since 8th grade, I seem to notice any difference, no matter how small or how obscure, in my body that I see. Additionally, my skin is itchy and dry, and no lotion seems to solve the problem. I blame the cold weather and the extremely harsh water pressure in the showers.

So... um...

*SINGS* Bed time for Hitler and Germany. Something that's the opposite of bed time... for Poland and France...

waking up at 930, bah i woke up at 830am tuesday/friday last spring and monday/thurs this fall. i wake up at 1030 or 1130 every day this semester though. 1130 on mondays, 1030 the other days and friday is usually around 1130 because ive got stuff to do before my afternoon class.

good work getting the drawing class done, it's like a double lab course for me. my current lab is organic chem lab and that lab is 4 hours 20 min long [usually done in around 3 hours though] and had a 55 minute lecture, both once a week.

and as for the going to the bathroom every hour, ive got that going for me when im studying, but that's just cause i drink a lot when i study, so every hour i go and take a break, also stop at my computer to make sure there arent6 any new emails, sg posts, etc.

the humidity in the dorms is usually totally way too low. like in my suite it's unacceptably low so i have a humidfier running 24/7. it helps a bit, otherwise the photographs on my wall curl up into u shaped things...

singing stuff that reminds me of the producers at the end of the journal, eh? i saw that musical last december...no wait i lied this past summer.
