I'm home... HOME! It is a great feeling.

My week has been rather eventful. On Monday, of course, I saw the ghastly white comedic genius known as Jim Gaffigan. He was lovely, and Dan and I had a gayous time.

On Tuesday, I took my last exam and finished packing up my shit for break. Dan stayed with me overnight and helped me move the next day. At around 3:30 in the afternoon, we headed to his humble abode in Columbus and remained there until early eveningish on Wednesday. Eventually we headed to Bucyrus, and that's when all the surreal nostalgia kicked in.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention. We brought a friend along with us for the journey: Maurice the hamster. Dan is watching her for his friend Mark who is out of state for the holidays. Maurice is our new best friend/fascination. My dad now wants a hamster.

Wednesday night I spent some time enjoying a little good old-fashioned fun with Kayleigh and Zornes (and Dan, of course) and it brought back memories of our lazy summer nights last summer watching American Psycho, ordering others to wash their vaginas, eating late night Taco Hell and... various other random activities.

Thursday was Thanksgiving, and much sleeping/eating took place at my house. It was sort of strange having Thanksgiving at MY house... I've always had past Thanksgivings with my grandparents on my mom's side. I guess this year they decided to stay in Florida (where they belong). Ahem. Anywho. My grandparents (the fun/awesome ones) came over and we all had dinner in the dining room of my new house. The table was meager and there weren't any fancy center pieces or serving bowls, but it was very nice regardless. Dan and I wore facial masks later on in the evening, drank sparkling grape juice out of wine glasses, and watched Ghost World until four in the morning.

Yesterday we got up rather late and went to Crestline to visit Dan's parents. Dan also collaborated with his father to fix the ill tire on the Sundance while I stood in his renovated basement and discussed pleasantries with his stepmother. I also took some nice pictures of the sunset outside of Dan's house. After visiting his friend Derek and making a few other miscellaneous and somewhat somber stops, we headed home, ate food, and went to Kayleigh's to play a never ending, exhausting game of Trivial Pursuit (version: pop culture!). The day had its moments, but overall, Dan and I were slightly blah after all the madness. So, that was that.

Today we spent time with Sara and Ed at the coffeehouse, and boy golly, I really missed those two. I stopped at Baker's to try and garner my job (and the much-needed cash that coincides with it) back for winter break, but Connie and Breck were MIA so I quickly left to avoid any feelings of depression that might arise from the prospect of working.

Dan left about an hour ago to head back to Columbus, and I am tired. I am contemplating a nap. I am actually a little lonely already, but I think it's just because my parents are out and I'm in this great big house by myself.

I definitely gained a little college weight, thanks to the lords of Jefferson dining hall and their clever wrap bar and spicy vegetarian chicken nuggets. I'd say I've put on about five to seven pounds. I suppose that's not so bad. My boobs feel plumper and look larger, so that's a plus. My hair is rather long and shagish. I need a hair cut, I CRAVE A HAIR CUT, but I am trying to resist in order to appease the gentlemen in my life (this including my father, boyfriend, and other male friends... as well as female friends).

I'm done now. You have a brain, so use it.
