But mostly, Dan. I love Daniel Elliott. He is the best person I think I've ever met. He's taken care of me, and I've taken care of him. He loves me more than anyone ever has, and I had never felt mutual love before I met him. He's smarter than I am. He's better than I am. Sometimes, I think I don't deserve this.
College is fun, but I miss subtle things about home. Like my mommy, daddy, grandparents, sister, cats... bathtub. I miss leisure. I miss not always being busy. I miss the summer and sleeping at Dan's every night and eating rice with hot sauce for breakfast and working at Baker's on those crazy Friday nights and spending late nights at Kayleigh's and driving my Cougar without air conditioning whilst listening to mixed cassette tapes.
It's late and I'm tired. Be grateful every day. That's my sole piece of lameass, hypocritical advice. Be happy for where you are, and where you were, and where you're going. Don't try to create your own "environment" for yourself. Fuck being "interesting." Things just happen.
