HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILLIAN MAPES!!!! (My college buddy down the hall.) She's 18 today. Wow. She's young. I remember me 18th birthday and it seems like forever ago.
So, it's 11:53 in the morn and I am drinking coffee. Listening to the Mars Volta. Nasty gym shorts and my face needs washed and my hair is pretty bad. Drew just came over and we decorated the outside of Jillian's door with birthday shite. I am going to buy her a CD later, I think. The card I got her is funny. I like birthdays. They make me happy.
It's another day in the hectic college life of yours truly. I hate Tuesdays and Thursdays because I have five hours of class... and it seems like I am on the go go go and I don't really get to eat or rest much. Yesterday was nice. I got my laundry done. Did some reading/skimming for Public Spanking (that is what I call it). Wrote my journal for that retarded University Experience class. Bought Jill's card for today. Bought some envelopes. Went for a walk with Drew. Figured out my second photo assignment and shot the first set of pictures for that, which, by the way, aren't creative or special in the slightest. Visited Chad, my photo instructor, and successfully completed the previous assignment that is due today. Uploaded pictures from that previous assignment to MY computer, where I proceeded to resize and edit them so that they may be shared and embraced by all. Had lunch AND dinner. Gee. I did a lot. Yesterday was a good day, but now it's Tuesday, and that depresses me.

I spent this past weekend with Dan and his "boiz" in Columbus. He now resides in a large house in the ghetto. It is a nice house with several rooms (and a lot of potential cleaning). I had to sort of take care of everyone's hamburger and chicken for tacos (Tom attempting to break the hamburger up with his bare hands disturbed my senses), and I regularly took it upon myself to do the dishes. I was a super awesome help-out girlfriend (worthy of five stars and two thumbs WAY up) this weekend. Oh, how I missed thy Danith Langith the First. I am looking forward to several more weekends cuddled next to him in his nicely organized bedroom. I missed his hot Ethan Hawke-esque face more than I miss garlic cheese bread (with medium hot sauce and blue cheese) from Baker's (and that's quite a bit). Gar. College is difficult when you have super awesome people that you can't be with on a regular basis. But I digress.
Last week I almost died in the presence of one Jillian Mapes. She and I were browsing Facebook for reasons she'd probably prefer I not mention, when suddenly we encountered a very comical picture of a girl holding her pet cat. The cat had very very red eyes in the picture, obviously resulting from the camera's intense flash. Upon seeing the satanic cat and the very giddy girl holding it, I started laughing whilst attempting to swallow fruit punch that I was consuming at the time. Laughing + drinking = bad, and I started choking on the punch. It was coming out of my mouth and nose and probably ears. I frantically ran into the hallway, I don't know why, fell on the floor, I don't know why, and passed out! I came to a few seconds later and had no idea where I was or how I ended up on the floor. I even forgot that I was in college. It was a very surreal experience.
I am so cool that I get paid to go to college. Ohio University forwarded a $99 check to my mailbox yesterday because my financial aid/scholarships for this quarter exceeded my tuition costs. How fucking awesome is that? If you answered, "pretty fucking awesome," then you would be correct, sir.
OK. Time for a shower. Adios, mis amigos buenos.

So, obviously, I've missed something like a million of your updates, but...where are you going to school?

The little girl is my daughter and I completely agree with you
