Today I almost died.

I went to the hospital to get blood drawn for testing. My blood needed to be tested to see if I have any deficiencies or abnormalities that could be triggering my headaches. Anywho. I had to fast, as one often does, for about 12 hours. No biggie. I didn't eat breakfast. So I went with my mom. They took three vials. I felt fine. Then I put my coat on and started to walk out, when suddenly, everything was closing in... turning black. I sat down. I felt very heavy. My breath was shallow. I felt like throwing up. I felt cold. I was sweating. I was shaking. My mom was telling me to breathe, slowly... then I slipped out. I passed out for almost a minute. My mom told me that I was slipping out the chair, and she had to physically prop my up to keep me from falling. She kept yelling my name, and eventually I heard it, and I woke up, and I had no fucking idea what had happened or where I was. It was unreal. In a few minutes, after some water and some crackers, I was okay to leave... but even now I feel very weak and fatigued. My muscles feel funny, and I have been cold all day. So... basically it sucked a lot, and Kelland was very scared. Very very scared. skull

On a lighter note.

My mom and I just filed the FAFSA. Free Application for Student Aid. Or something to that effect. It was stressful. Also stressful -- yesterday morning I took the ACT yet again, and I really feel as though I did poorly. I was not as attentive as I could've been. I only got five hours of sleep the night before.

Why did I only get five hours of sleep? I went to see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in Columbus with Shannon, my dad, and Damein the night before. The opening bands, The Morning After Girls and Elefant, were very awesome. I have a hu-mung-o crush on the lead singer to Elefant. And of course Black Rebel Motorcycle Club did not disappoint. I was in the front row. Center spot. But standing for five hours on very little sleep (after a strenuous school day) is difficult, and I was getting a bit tired towards the end. Then these drunken assholes behind Damein and I started CROWD-SURFING in the middle of one of the last songs! It was ridiculous. If you listen to BRMC, you know that their music is not exactly crowd-surfing material. My dad got knocked over (he did not get injured, thankfully), and he was getting pissed. It was actually pretty funny how intensely angry he had become in a matter of minutes. If I were young, drunk, and stupid, I would be very afraid of my dad. He is 6'5'', about 230 pounds, and full of unbridled rage (just like his daughter)... don't fucking mess around. So anyways, these assholes also instigated their own little mosh pit, which was just fucking ridiculous! I was so angry and riled up, I could've killed someone. But putting that all aside, the concert was amazing. I'm telling you all right now: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is one of the best (newer) bands to see live.

I took pictures at the concert but they aren't very good.

That reminds me, I got accepted into the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University! They accepted 86 out of 149 applicants, so I am very proud of myself. Yay. I have a sense of direction. I have a place to go. Goodness gracious.

I have to go to work in a matter of minutes. Y-A-Y. I have been a crabby bitch at work lately -- I'll admit it. I am tired of being treated like an idiot. That's basically what it amounts to. People need to cut me some fucking slack and take a damn chill pill. One positive aspect of working is that I did indeed get my monies from the federal government yesterday. It's good to not be completely broke.

More later when I get back from work.
