My AC (in the house) works fine, but it's been so hot lately that I set it at 68, but it creeps up close to 75 at the hottest part of the day anyway. It's been in the upper 90s around here lately

To be honest, if the instructions are ridiculously complicated, and the end result is wobbly and cheap looking, then yeah I get pissed too

But IKEA's furniture is usually dead simple to put together, by comparison. Even the most elaborate pieces are more straightforward than other DIY furniture. And they always feel super sturdy

Sounds like you have learned some tough but essential lessons, but its best to learn them now instead of later, where they might have cut much deeper.

My advice is to always love yourself, feel lucky if you can count true friends on one hand, and never fall for someone online unless you atleast meet them in person first. (it MIGHT work but chance are slight, its not worth the risk!)

We live, we learn, we grow. Ideally anyways. Looks like your doing a fine job at the learning and growing part. :-)
