We used to always rescue little birds when I was a kid...sometimes they were in bad shape and didn't make it, but a few of them made it..I remember we'd try giving them alittle water smushed up with bread crumbs with an eyedropper and stuff.

I have found the best way to deal with people like that is to tell them in no uncertain terms that you want nothing to do with them. Make it clear that contact is not welcome or appreciated. Hope it all works out.
