Living in the country can be fun...
like tonight; walking my two dogs (great danes btw) down the trail in the back of our property. OH hello bunny rabbits sorry we interrupted your courting dance.... *dogs depart* keke's arms nearly get ripped out of sockets. YOU THINK because i OWN a rabbit they wouldn't care to CHASE after one. Anyways; I got my grounds and gave their commands and they settled down; except NO NO can't do their business now! MUST stare at rabbits and try their best to move forward with out pulling on the leashes hard. One rabbit takes off; the other lets us get within 10 feet and does this little dance and hops away; we keep walking it stops; does it's dance AGAIN then hops away. THE FRIGGIN THING was TEASING my dogs; hahahaha!! Anywho.....
While walking back I had black flies, mosquitoes and june bugs attacking me all at once; haha. Scooby absolutely HATES bugs so he's like jumping in the air trying to catch them/bite them.
So I get them back into the house and I hear a catfight in my backyard. So OUT I go again to go find Rusty and bring him inside; and as I'm trying to get him in; he's walking away on the trail of what he was fighting; and out from the arbour running at me comes a raccoon.... lol... so it takes off.
Stupid cat; he would NOT have won that fight.....

Ha! I live in the middle of a city of 400,000, but I still have raccoons and possums trying to eat the food that I leave out for the stray cat that I've adopted. FYI, that crazy furball can hold her own against a raccoon 
I guess it's because she was mostly starved to death and in really bad shape when she wandered into my yard, so she's really protective of her food. Go get 'em, DD (detach & deploy)!
