So lots has happened over the past few days;
Saturday was the funeral.... it was nice seeing family from AB and BC..since we rarely see each other anymore. Funeral itself was alright. Problem with my Dad's side of the family....BIG church goers. I smirked at the readings, I just couldn't stand listening to them repeat themselves over and over and over again. Yes, my Dad was and still is the black sheep of the family. And I'm proud. LOL.
You know piercings are mainstreaming when your aunt compliments you on your nose piercing and says she's getting her belly done before they go away on a cruise. I almost fell on my ass. These are people that wouldn't let me go see a guy in a metal band when I was out visiting in Abbotsford...as well as not allowing me and my brother to watch vampire movies in their house. Yea...I was totally shocked...
Sunday was my parent's Daytona party, yet I had to work at 3pm so I didn't really participate.
The new nose screws I bought ended up being slightly thicker and bigger screw portion than my current one (which I could not STAND in my nostril), and it proved to be very painful to put in..so I gave up. Ended up just putting a cheap stud in...and then 2 days later...paying the price of a sore sore piercing hole (no blood or anything, just sore). Old screw is back in. *sigh*.
Friday...*drum roll* I got offered a full time job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's for the summer months, same place I'm at now, but one of the full time is taking the summer off, so I got it
I'm excited because I was contemplating getting another job for the summer....but now I don't have to because I have full time, and then my part time with them as well...yay!!
Just got all my hours written down for March, I pretty much work more than 3/4's of the days in March...big time full sched...AND there's still sick calls that I can cover..SO I'm happy.
