My favorite bands haven't changed in years. Is this a bad thing?

X
Elvis Costello
The Band
The Beach Boys
The Beatles
The Stooges
Talking Heads
Television

What else do you need? It's hard for new music to penetrate that. I could listen to a new album, or I could listen to the above. Which is it gonna be?

stiles:
Your park/neutral switch (most likely) or your brake light switch (less likely) may be out of adjustment.
The car uses input from the p/n switch to allow the brake/transmission switch interlock solenoid to release the shifter from the park position, but only when the brake is applied hard enough to turn on the stop lights.

If the problem is getting worse, it will probably continue to get worse until the car is no longer driveable without exessive shenanigans. I can't really give any sort of educated opinion beyond that as I haven't seen the car in person. If I might be candid, Tauruses suck ass and you'd do well to get rid of it while it's worth anything at all - and before the steering rack takes a dump, a common, frustrating and expensive repair since they tend to vomit power steering fluid out of the reservior endlessly due to a bad design, fixable only by extensive vacuum bleeding of the reservior. Transmissions and A/C are also mucho sucko.

Let me know how things work out.

edited because spelling is kryptonite for me tonight, apparently

new music can't penetrate that...

it most often disappoints me actually...

I bought like 3 new release albums this year...and one of them was the Gang of Four reissue.

I listen to jazz, so I feel your pain...or bliss.
