Today my job at the Health Food Center pissed me off one time too many, and I walked out. Rebecca joined me in solidarity. While cooking dinner, the phone rings, and it's my old friend Kristen.
Kristen is the Front Desk Supervisor at a Residence Inn, and she wants to hire me! 75 cents more an hour, and I go in for an interview tomorrow ! As long as the manager likes me too, I'm hired on the spot.
Did I mention I have four years prior hotel experience?
We were just standing there cooking dinner, wondering what the fuck we were going to do, and a job falls out of the sky! Unemployed for a grand total of 7 hours.
...now we have to find Rebecca a job too.
