Why do so many bands sound great until somebody starts singing? Why is that the hardest part by far?

In the New Year For some reason I feel more strongly about promise…
But, yeah, bad vocals kill so many promising songs.
Well, that is extremely helpful. I've been using the grouping system when I add new "friends" but I never really knew the value in it. I just assumed it was a way for me to protect my own information and updates - but I never really found that feature either.
Now I have it filtered to only show me updates from people I know through SG.
