Thanks to mrniceguy for hosting an awesome new year's party at his cabin!!
It was great so see sorcha panzermensch syh oninotaki and mrniceguy again and to meet pebbles and mario (I don't know the sg name).
Oni and I drove up on Thursday evening and spent the night watching movies with mrniceguy, mario and two of his non-sg friends. Friday we slept in, ate breakfast and then did basicly nothing all day. Ok well any one addicted to final fantasy or feel the magic or mario 64 did that
Any one that was there knows the look I have when I write that. Honestly I still love you guys for it 
A bunch of mrniceguy's non-sg friends showed up about 4 on friday and sorcha, apt, syh and pebbles got there around 6 or so. See the pictures for a detailed discripition of what happened from there on out. It was a great time none the less and if you weren't there.........you missed a ton of fun and laughs
Sat. we all slept in again.......then lounged around all day doing absolutly nothing productive:
Conversation interuption at 3:00
Mario: I want angle food cake.....
Every one looks at him.
Mario: I do and steak......
Me: we don't have that, you'll have to go to the store.
Mario: I can't I don't know where I am.
Conversation interuption at 3:30
Mario: I want chicken wings....
Me: you want chicken wings, steak and angle food cake?
Mario: and chineese....
Oni:mmm chineese sounds good
Conversation interuption just after 4:00
Oni: where's the chineese?
Mario: I want my steak, cake, wings and chineese.
Sorcha: There is a place in Alpena, it's pretty good.
Mario: I don't know were I'm at or where Alpena is for that matter.
Oni: I can't leave the cabin till sunday.
Sorcha: "starts giving directions"
Mario is confused and a discusion starts about how far we are from alpena which leads us off the food topic again.
Conversaion interuption about 4:45
Someone: let's get pizza, call the bar and see if they deliver.
Mario: Yeah and my steak and wings and cake......
Oni: where's the chineese at? Mario are you gonna go get that?
Me: Maybe the pizza people will go pick up the chineese?
Someone: yeah right......
At 6:00 Sorcha, me and pebbles were on our way to Alpena for Chineese food and apt's wendy's order.
Dinner was followed with a rousing game of Life and had some very interesting people in in include but not limited to a male lesbian who was married to a lesbian and had four kids, two through adoption and two natural (well you know) and back seat driver who was butler to the male lesbian and had a wife and no kids.
Believe it or not there was almost no alcohol involved in this game.
Sunday a mass of breakfast, picking up the cabin, packing and trying to get on the road. Then we realized that were were all going to see each other in 5 days anyway so the good bye's got shortned to see ya at the birthday party.
Anyway I have been on this way too long this morning and I need to get other stuff done to day. Enjoy the pictures and I'll see you all this weekend, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As to what time I'm getting there...well, I'm planning on leaving Chicago at 11 or 12 my time, which, if it takes me 6 hours, puts me at your place at 6 or 7. But I'm meeting Speedphreak partway, and we might eat or something, which would extend the trip a bit. So...6ish or 7ish, and I'll give you a call during the day Saturday to give you a more accurate, up-to-the-minute timeline.
