falling sky

the skies are falling the skies are falling,
all the children cried,
the skies are falling and no ones hiding.
all the children died.
the sky has fallen and the world has left,
the children died and now are ghosts,
the sky has fallen, the devil's gift.
the children lost who they care for the most.
the sky is gone and the children cry,
forever are they all forsaken,
the sky is gone and god is shy.
but the children are mistaken.
the sky is gone but there is still life,
a single child survives,
the skies are gone, the child dodges the knife.
he sifted through all of the lies.
the child lives and lifts the skies,
his courage brought back humanity,
no longer will we hear the cries.
the only thing left, insanity.
