I had way too many days off in a row to reflect on my life. I've made goals though and plan to focus on them. It was really nice to invite some of my family over to swim and make our dad BBQ for us. I know he just loves it when we don't see him for a month then we call him to say, "Hey! Come make us food!"
I know he secretly enjoys still being needed around from time to time.
I also took my youngest sister out to Knotts Berry Farm for a day. It seems to be a yearly thing for us now. Whenever I go I always play the "Guess My Age/Weight/Birthday" game. I almost always win. No one ever guesses my age right! I won a really awesome squid hat.
I am officially in major plan mode for the wedding. We've got all our spots booked again and I've started making my bouquet from silk flowers. Because real flowers are just stupid expensive. I drove an hour to visit my good old BFF who is now married and has 2 kids and is pretty much my opposite but understands me on every level. She's craftier than I am and we've been long over due for a visit. She always has a ton of good ideas.
