I might have two weddings lined up to photograph this summer. One in April and the other in June. I'm still quite sad that when my computer crashed I lost YEARS worth of work and stuff I was planning on putting into my new portfolio.
So, I need to ask you peoples a favor- if you're in the So Cal area, you should let me take pictures of you. I need real live people. Architecture and still life are fun, but I've been getting more into portraiture and events more. Whether you are a hopeful and want a set, have a wedding or some other event you want pictures of, have a child you need new photos of, or you just want some pretty pictures of yourself let me know! I'm ready to get back in the swing of things, I've been feeling more inspired than usual.
I will upload some pictures later, I'm drinking my morning coffee and need to go shower for work soon.
Puppy update- the dogs are doing swell. We are switching their diet to all natural home cooked foods though. Xanax keeps getting ill from all the dog food and he is losing weight. But when I make him fresh food, he is happier and poops better. Zoloft is just a fat little piggy and will eat anything we make for him. My best friend was nice enough to give me some tips on human food they can eat, I wrote down some recipes and cross referenced with the vet.
Wedding Update- we're taking engagement photos on the 23rd. Neither of us has a clue what to wear. Dressy? Casual? We know we don't want to match... My step dad has been kind enough to already let us know he wants to take care of our hotel arrangements for the honeymoon (5 nights in beautiful Lake Tahoe, NV). He and I never had a good relationship when he was married to my mom. He has custody of my little sister and I guess now that he is raising her he realized what he missed out on with my older sister and I when we were growing up. He wants to make up for it, and I will graciously allow him.
Work Update- My management training is moving on a little slowly. I'm now training my replacement who has no previous work experience in my area. But, he seems like a smart cookie and he is great with people. I have high hopes for him to do a good job and be capable. But, I'm trying no to get too far ahead of myself. Hopefully just a few more months to go and I will be moving on to bigger and better things.

Who's wedding's are you lined up to take photo's for?...i think for your engagement photos that semi-casual would b good..like maybe dark jeans but a really cute top and pair of shoes for you and some nice shoes n shirt for Mike...wootwoot! 5 nights in Tahoe sounds friggin awesome!
