So, I just got an offer to put in a bid to try and win over a client who is looking to spend between 50-80k dollars in a years time with us.
This is quite exciting for me. I love trying to win customers over because it is always such an ego boost when I do. I know I'm awesome at my job and its always nice to know they picked me over others. PLUS, we can always use a guaranteed 50,000 to 80,000!
The client is the city, so they've picked other copy and print shops to put in a bid on them and whoever they pick, they are going to stay with for the entire year. That's guaranteed bills PAID! Not to mention the excitement of getting samples together for them and building a relationship with them and getting to know them. I love that part, because it reinforces my confidence in work. Theres another guy right next to me that runs a copy shop as well, a little bird told me they aren't considering him just because he is rude. Ah, I love business sometimes!
