i am soooo excited because at this very moment you can see the northern lights dancing across the sky. you can almost never see them in illinois... and tonight they are going crazy. i read they should be around tomorrow night too. we might drive further north and away from the city to get a better view. they look like stripes and ribbons dancing across the sky. so beautiful.

northern lights are my life. i was blessed to live in the far north of BC and got to see kaleidoscope lgiths throughout the winters.
since moving south to victoria here i never see them anymore

What remarkable pictures of the northern lights. I didn't know they were happening here in Illinois. The one time I got to see them was up in Frankfort, Michigan, a little town about five hours north of Chicago on Lake Michigan. I was spending the week at a little cabin and had just got into the driveway, parked the car and noticed the sky all aglow and shimmering with these dancing lights. I really can't describe how stunningly disquieting the whole experience was.

On another note, the pictures of your culinary creations have left me droolingly hungry. You have talent in spades.
