so.. last week i figured out that we have a mouse someplace in my kitchen.. and then my boyfriend saw it.. so last night i had him stop and buy some mouse traps.. these are a new fangled kind that look like a big plastic clamp.. so when a mouse gets trapped you just hold it by the handle and release it... already i was feeling guilty about this whole thing. .. he put the traps out last night.

later that evening we were sitting in the living room and i hear *SNAP* .. "holy shit!" was all i could say..

then it started.. the sound of plastic dragging against the kitchen floor.. that was all it took.. i was in complete hysterics crying and sobbing .. picturing this mouse flopping and flailing around. so my boyfriend sends me upstairs...the sounds stop and we went to bed.

this morning i wake up.. then wake him up to make him dispose of the body.. he walked into the kitchen and i heard the sound AGAIN. it still wasn't dead!! the fucking trap just had the mouse by the leg... ohhhhh my god. this is so horrible. the mouse was trying to run under the stove but the trap was too big. finally my boyfriend did something with it and now it is gone.

i have guilt for this stupid mouse that was pooping on my kitchen counter. hopefully in a few days i will look back on this and laugh.

whatever

That's somehow quite an amusing story. Can just picture the mouse dragging a trap behind him smile

Werd. It's pretty sad. A terrible feeling, but, he could have been pooping in yourr mouth and taking pictures while you were sleeping. You gonna put up with that? We have a few mice in my shop. The only way we can catch them is with fast food bags. I don't like to kill them, but I can't throw them outside in -2 degree weather and let them freeze to death. If it has to be done, I guess the old fashioned snap and death is the way to go. frown
