Wonderland was amazing.. amazing. i want to see it again.
And.. i wanted to shower after i got out of the theater. it is dirty.. grit.. gritty.. there is no other word to describe it but gritty.
Anton.. it is based on the events surrounding the Wonderland murders .. kind of a mystery.
sooo soo so so so so much drug use. sex .. violence.. bad bad bad people.
i have never been to L.A.. but.. it seems to be getting a "seedy" reputation from movies i have seen about... the drug use party people. obviously i know not everyone out there is like that. but some part of it must be true yes? that some part of L.A is almost.. surreal. i imagine that aspects of miami would be the same... this all coming from a girl who has been in the midwest her whole life. never been to nyc.. never been to la. (london once for a few weeks though)
all the performances in the movie were fucking great. val deserves an oscar.. he was so good it was scary. other people.. i didnt even recognize them!
so.. if you can. go see this movie.. rush rush rush right out there
other notes:
it was the first time i was out in public supposed to be having a good time with friends. it felt weird. my heart is still hurting over elliott.
today also marks 1 year since my best friend's mom committed suicide. tough times.
but today we are going over to friend's house to carve pumpkins. should be fun. they have two kids (3 and 10 months) that i love so much.. they always cheer me up if for some reason i'm down.
