i had a wonderful conversation with a cab driver tonight. he was playing classical music .. so i asked him

"do you always listen to this station when you drive?"

"yes."

"i've never been in a classical music cab before."

"people always ask me how i stay so calm when i drive a cab.. this is why."

it was very interesting.. then he said..
"music is very important to me.. i'm a musician too."

"oooo oh really.. what do you play?"
(at this point i'm excited)

"piano, guitar, sitar, and other indian instruments."

"how very cool... in the past i have played piano, flute and guitar."

then he told me about how he believes music is so very important.. and that all his children play instruments and that his son is in a rock band back in India.

then he asked.."have you ever heard of the sitar?"

"ohh yes.. i love the sound of that.. "

then he asked me if i knew of the beatles.. to which i replied.. "ravi!"

and he said.. "exactly."

so i said.."Love You To is one of my favorite george harrison songs while he was with the beatles."

he was pleased with this comment.. then we arrived at my stop and i said..
"keep on playin'"



so now.. mood right now:
