Now that I can't log on at work any more, the pace of SG for me has gone from something fairly hectic, where I would log on many times a day to something aproaching the pace of the postal service. Waiting for Thursday/Friday to come around so that I can log on is a bit like waiting for a package. Anticipation can be fun, I guess 
Well, I gave up my big news in my last blog. Preparations have continued apace. We're booked into some (hopefully) cool shows and we're going to be taking a helicopter ride to the grand canyon!! My excitement is really building. There's that anticipation thing again.
OK, everybody asks this, but my favourite hopeful LindyHop has a set up for SCS. Please take a look here. I think she's fantastic; she's beautiful and she's also a lovely person and a really cool artist to boot.
The whole hopeful thing is quite cruel I think, I know many people disagreed when they raised the number of official sets per day, but so many great sets are never being seen, I really like to see them raise it again.

well well. hope you get some great photos of the canyon to put up here. im heading to chicago in 3 weeks. going ice skating x-mas shopping and the buzz of thanksgiving.

and fireworks would have been the business out in the sticks. all dark and stuff. you would have to scare all the local wildlife away with the small ones first. the bonfires and fireworks displays were mental in my area.
