I'm obsessed with elephants lately. You guys got no idea. I need 11,000 dollars so I can feed an elephant at a sanctuary in Tennessee for a year. I don't have an extra 11,000 grand laying around. GAH. The stories are so heart breaking. Animals that are fucking endangered being captured and sold to shitty side of the road circuses and then kept in captivity and forced to try and breed with bull elephants that are overly aggressive and not getting proper medical attention for broken bones and infections! Did you know that 33% of asian elephants miscarry. Those are not good odds. I feel so fucking sorry for these animals. And they have 2 african elephants in the sanctuary as well. They're sadder in a way because their herds were both culled. I am going to go cry now.
