I'm starting to think there's more to this "2012" theory than some random shamanistic (from all over the world and completely isolated from each other, mind you) dooms-day scenerio based in nothing but extremist spiritualism.
We are a virus, and the Earth's immune system is is reacting accordingly. Anybody who thinks that the severity of this reaction is anything but growing exponentially, is either an idiot or hasn't been paying attention for the last 10 years.
We've reached Peak Oil. This year in fact, I think. What that means is that the ammount of petroleum we can syphon from this poor, weakening planet that sits oh so helplessly and vulnerably beneath our feet, is never going to be as much as it was the year before (despite all of W.'s plans of oil drilling in wildlife reserves).
This may not seem like a big deal to the more eco-minded, anti-vehicle, hippie-idiots among you, who probably think its America's "Karma" that we should have to pay so much for gasoline now; But I assure you, the plastic flowers you have pinned to your hair and "anti-war" buttons you have pinned to your lapel, are all petroleum-based materials.
But this isn't a rant about Peak Oil, its about Doomsday: 2012. There are many factors other than petroleum leading to this Fuck (sorry, i tried, but i couldn't think of a more descriptive word).
I could probably go on another 4 pages about it.
But I won't.
SIX more years! that's all!
I used to believe in Gun Control. Well, maybe I still do, but after witnessing Katrina and the Everyone-For-Themselves mentality of the aftermath, I now own 2 shotguns (1 sawed-off) and a .45.
