I saw him about 2 months ago over here.... it was good --- but people tell me he's been better.... (it was my first Dylan show)
A lot of his songs didn't take shape into their 'traditional' sound till quite far through each song... so there was a lot of confusion and chin-scratching from the crowd.
and as you say - I'm sure quite a few of them didn't have a clue about the history and depth of catalogue of the man himself.... they we're probably just waiting for Tambourine Man to be played... which didn't happen!
His backing band are awesome at the moment tho!
