I went to Pensacola Monday night, and I didn't realize it until I got there but I am so ready to go back. The whole trip was like a mini vacation. Sure I have freedom here, but not like I have freedom there. It's a different flavor and it taste so much better. I finally rolled a good blunt, my first one. I've been working on them and they are always wicked shitty, but the other night I was on perfect status. I was proud.
I love that town and I can't wait until the end of July to finally move back (into my own place for that matter.) Coming back home was just a mellow-harsher and I'm desperate to leave. I'll just have to make the best out of it because I can't walk around here just being sad all the time. Maybe I just need to get deeper into Panama City like I did with Pensacola. But I've lived here for the longest and by now you would think I had already found out every nook and cranny, hopefully I can discover more.
I start my job on Monday at the law firm. (I know, it's against everything I stand for, but at least they are defense attorneys.) Against my mother's fatal wishes I don't have to pull an ultra corporate move and go in at 8 AM or 9 AM, I start at a nice 11 or 12 every day and get off by 3 PM or 4 PM, with no weekends. This I can handle, and I'm glad I get to sleep in still.
I think I hear her yelling about grades, I'll add more to this later.
I have redeveloped a fond appreciation for the Garden State soundtrack. I remember when it first came out, it seemed to be every one's favorite cd. But I can't blame everyone because it is a damn good soundtrack. Well done Chad Fischer and Alexi Murdoch.
Stranger then Fiction just arrived. Well Stephen did, and that is what he bought with him.
Peace and Love.
