I lived in my hometown for 17 years, and I still don't know my way around. I bought a car after I moved to Trailer Park Hell, NC, and after about 6 months, I could delve into the scummiest, stinkingest, most car part infested trailer park in town! The best thing to do is just drive around and get lost on purpose (if that's possible) and try to find your way home without asking anyone for directions. Tip: do this with a full tank of gas... I learned the hard way.
