I think it’s important to help if you’re in a position to give to charities. There was a time when I think I had 6 or 7 direct debits a month for various places haha.
My go to ones tend to be animal charities as they do need so much help to keep all their fur babies fed and healthy. At the moment, I’ve been giving to a charity called Scope which helps families with disabilities by providing various services. As some may know, my daughter has cerebral palsy so we’ve actually used a number of these services! It feels right to give back to a service we’ve used. There’s such a gap with services for certain disabilities and also certain age groups so here’s hoping that they’re able to fill these gaps with funding! I know I’m dreading when she turns 16 and all of a sudden there’s nothing really around 😔 I wholeheartedly ask That if anyone is able to give to disability charities that they do just so these kids get the same kind of opportunities that regular kids do 💖
