So we were hoping to be able to get healthcare thru my hubbies work but its $149 a week!!!! Seriously? And then you also have to pay $30 co pays as well as $3,000 a year before they even start to pay anything. I have been having some health issues lately that I really need to get diagnosed and treated for but now that's out of the picture...... I'm hoping I can find a free clinic to get started anyways and then hopefully get referred to an endocrinologist... who knows how much that will cost or how long it could take.....

Healthcare is becoming more and more unaffordable for everyone. We have relatively good insurance through our former employer (retired) yet we have to meet the maximun out of pocket expenses, have large co-pays, and usually paid full price for our meds. Ridiculous!!

Yea, hopefully you can locate a free clinic that can help you, and pray your issues are not serious.

$600.00 per month for family coverage is not bad at all!! As for the 3K deductible, don't worry about it. Go to the doctor and get treated. the insurance will pick up everything and bill you at the end. You can pay that off in installments.
