So the job is going pretty well. I'm all by my lonesome now and training is done. Thank god. I just have to work out the kinks. There is a few things I don't know how to handle yet, but I'm sure it will come to me with experience.
Now for the holiday. It becomes more of a joke every year. I'm not the religious type, but the real meaning of christmas has gone down the tubes. People run around like psychos trying to make sure they're spending the same amount on others as is being spent on them. At least that's what it seems like. I even have that sort of competition in my own family. Christmas to me seems like a holiday where you get a bunch of random junk all while trying not to buy your loved ones random junk. I would enjoy it much more if there wasn't gift giving involved. Being with my family is what's most important to me. Spending time with them and maybe a nice dinner would suffice. The gift giving should be reserved for the kids in my opinion. I could even handle a small gift given or received here and there. Just cant stand it when people go over board.
Keeping with that theme... my shopping is done. I've got a nice 3 day weekend coming up. I can't wait til monday so I can go blow some cash on the after christmas sales. I desperately need a bigger wardrobe when it comes to work clothes.
