I'm sick
This is good and bad.
Good for you, because I finally have the time to sit and write a little about why I was gone for so long.
Extremely bad for me, because I was supposed to read about 7 articles this weekend and now I can't really do that, my eyes hurts and my nose just wont stop dripping
Sexy isn't it?
Anyway, since I started attending uni things has been pretty hectic for me.
It has been ages since I studied, and well, in high school I didn't do it so well, so it took me a while to get used to it and to adjust myself to a right way of studying.
I just got my exam schedule and it is way sooner then I thought
But I am really having a blast so far, I met really great girls so far. Unfortunately no hot boys around, but I guess I didn't expect to find them in social work studies..
We are obligated to do 3 hours a week of volunteering work in various places. I was assigned to a mental patients occupation center.
I was so happy I was assigned there, it was my first choice, and this is what I want to do as a social worker, so it was perfect!
I was there 4 times already, 3 of those times where just walking around the place and getting to know the social worker that we will work with and a bit of background about the place, mental illness and rehabilitation centers in Israel.
The fourth time we actually got to know and sit with the people who work there, it was a really great experience, they were really open to us and really interested, they were so sweet!
It is kindda weird being 22 and going to speak with a 50+ man about his life, but I will get used to it. If they are o.k with that, then why wont I be?
Other then that, Im still working, less then I used to, but it still takes time. This month is kindaa crazy because we have an end of the year sale, and the store is so full all the time.
I really like it, last month we had the suckiest sale ever and the store was practically empty, it was so empty! So this is a blessed change!
In all that mini chaos, I found some time to buy these beauties:
I want another pair, but I guess it will have to wait until I have more money
And. I'm working on setting up another shoot!
It's about time I will try having another one..
Lets just hope it's fate will be better than the last MR one
Hanukkah and Christmas are only a day apart this year!
I love those holidays, and I am fortunate enough to live in a city where the population celebrates both
I was at a Christmas festival last weekend, it was really lovely
I was so saddened to hear about the death of Bettie Page, after all she is the "mom" of all of us, so here is one of my favorite pictures of her,
May she rest in peace.
And well. That's all for now, I'm going to blow my nose and try do read something.
