Happy (late) Veteran's Day!

I'm not often a big fan of our government and all the political shit we have going in the US, but I will always support and love our troops <3 In my family, almost every man has served in some branch and I am very proud of them <3 The well-being and happiness of our veterans is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. So, I wanted to do an extra something special to celebrate all those that have risked so much for our freedom. It is because of you that I am able to be a silly, little thing and do whatever makes me happy, we owe you the world <3 I hope you guys like this little extra and to those that have served in our military past, present, and future, thank you again and again for your service <3

I started out on bass, then guitar,drums if I have to but I mostly sing and play acoustic. I have an acoustic jam at my place every wednesday night at my place with 2 to 4 friends. We play to much Beatles (everyone is 15 to 20 years older then me) Rolling stones, Chris Isaak, Elvis, Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie. I like City and Colour, U2, Hard sun by Eddie Veder the Cure. It is a colourful tapestry. I used to play bass and sing at the Ivanhoe pub in Vancouver at an open jam every Sunday for over a year. I quit because we played way to much CCR and the drummer sucked! I find until you get more courage have a couple of beers before singing, good Luck and take care.

That is so cool :)  In terms of proper learning, I started with the bass as well, but I ended up giving it to my sister for xmas one year and didn't get too far - I'd love to pick it up again, though :)  That sounds great, I'm sure you can never have too much Beatles xD  I'd really love to just have the occasional jam session - I started singing with a band just before I left England to come home to the US here, so didn't get to very long.  Lol I agree, a little liquid courage definitely helps to loosen things up a bit xD  Thank you, you too <3
