I have found my calling. Last night it just hit me in the face. I was looking at the pictures a friend had taken of her newborn baby and started poking around the photgrapher's site and realized "THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE". Granted, right now I don't have the proper camera, lights, props, studio, training, etc. But now I have a goal. I've done great with taking pictures of Danica but I've never gotten as creative as I hope to become. At first I was very concerned because I was thinking she makes all her own hats etc but I have discovered where to buy them from! I have a cousin due in Sept, a friend due with twins in Oct and another friend due in Nov and I think I have them all talked into being my guinea pigs. I couldn't be happier right now!!!!! I think that is fabulous about wanting to do photography. Check out a company called Our 365 - they do newborn photography here in Atlanta but may be in Florida as well.
Remember, the idea is much more important than the camera. Equipment is nice to have but not always need to have - and it sounds like you have some potential models up for pictures already. don't forget to do maternity shoots for them!
