It's vacation time!!! That week every year that we spend at the beach. Usually the weather while we're here is horrible. This year we've had the best weather ever! It's beautiful! So warm and sunny (hope I didn't just jinx the rest of our stay!) Of course there will be lots of pictures soon, for now you'll just have to settle for the run down.
We checked in Saturday evening, Kat and Tony came over and stayed the night, we stayed up late watching movies and talking, went out for (late) breakfast Sunday then went for a walk on the beach. Dani went straight for the ocean but was quickly distracted by the seagulls. We came back up, I got a massage
then they had to head home. Monday we drove around alot, we went all the way to the inlet, hit a few dive shops, souvenier shops etc. I got a beautiful beachy sun dress, and a sarong style skirt and cute top...maybe I'll post pics. Yesterday my mom came over and watched Dani so we could have a grown up day, we played put-put golf and had a great dinner. Today we met up with my brother and his wife who is about to pop even though she's not due for another week or so. We went to lunch and ate outside under the sun. Dani got a mild sunburn from it and so did I. I was wearing a sleeve-less shirt and you can tell exactly where the straps were, as well as where my locket was sitting.
Tonight our friend Brian is in town so he's coming to stay with us. Early tomorrow morning Tiny is coming over with his boat for fishing. Still not sure if he's taking just Hubby, Hubby and Brian, or all of us (kid included). Brian heads north this evening, Tiny stays the night, guys go fishing again Fri. Friday afternoon Tiny's wife and kids come over (I'm still not cool with this so that's all I'm saying about it). Saturday we check out (by 10 am).
The great part for me?? I don't go back to work until NEXT Thurs That's all for now, the kid is awake and the beach is calling. I'll be thinking of all of you while playing in the ocean, sand, pool, hot tub, sauna, etc.
