I feel guilty saying this but I had a good day. Step-mom's funeral is done. I saw family I haven't seen since my wedding (5 years ago). Spent time with old family friends. Made some new friends along the way. Got some really good pics (I hope) of me and my step-brother. There have been a lot of little good things to come out of all this but the best for me personally is the relationship I've developed w/ my step-siblings. Until Daddy married her I was an only child and I never wanted to give that up but now I have a brother who informed me he never wants to hear the word step in front of his name again. They always told us if we'd just hang out we'd become great friends, and they were right. We looked through a lot of old pictures, ate a TON of great food, and enjoyed being with loved ones. I think she would be happy.

I think I'm going to take tomorrow off to recharge. I feel more like me already.
