I was right, our power went out almost as soon as I was offline. Oh- well, where was I? Oh yes, 4th of July weekend. I had to work all day Saturday - that sucked, but once I got off work I went to our freind's house on 40 acres where everyone had gathered for a cookout followed by mudding. I got there and as soon as I got my clothes changed my best friend got attacked w/ mud and I got caught in the crossfire. After playing in the trucks in the mud, and on the 4-wheelers in the mud, and all the mudfights you couldn't see our skin under it all, and this isn't "clean" mud, this is swamp/cow field mud, it stinks and sticks and stains. So then we went back toward the house where the "adult capacity" slip-n-slide was set up. We all hosed eachother off then played on the slip-n-slide. Then I ran home to shower, we went back out, set off fireworks (but had to stop early b/c one of the neighbors horses was goin crazy), then went to relax and watch the video of the day, somebody had been filming and set the cam down w/ it running so there was lots of watching the grass and ppls feet 
Glad it wasn't me.
Sunday John had to work, I don't remember what I did. Oh shit! I lost a day! Oh, now I remember, I did a whole bunch of nothin!
I ended up taking my truck to my dad's to pull his tractor out from where he got it stuck and hung out there for a while. One of the step-monster's friends brought over a 6 wk pug pup that was TOO CUTE!!! Then I went home and John's dog peed on my pillow AGAIN!!! So now I'm down to my last pillow b/c I refuse to sleep on a pillow she's peed on even after I wash it. 
Monday John worked again, I had the day off
, I did house stuff (laundry, vaccuum, laundry, dust, more laundry) then went to Kat's house where we watched Buffy & Angel for a few hours, then I went home.
Tuesday the 4th we conned my uncle into loaning us his boat and spent the day on the water, I got sunburned as usual then we went home, gave the dogs their tranquilizers b/c they freak over fireworks. Had dinner, gave them MORE tranquilizers b/c the idiots were launching fireworks over our house, and spent the next 3 hours sitting on our dogs to keep them from hurting themselves.
The rest of the week has been weird but thankfully has gone quickly. I know we're going to the races Saturday night and I might try to get the boat again for Sunday but I won't have John there to put it in the water since he has to work

My pups are far more attractive then I am... I came to terms with this years ago.
