So my fiance has officially shipped out. As of yesterday he is headed for Fort Jackson, South Carolina for Basic Training. They had him stranded in Tampa for three days this week before sending him there. Something about waiting for Steve's and about 20 other guys' background checks. So retarded, they're the government, it shouldn't take three days (more than that really since they sent for them before the soldiers got there) to get background checks.
It has recently occured to me how little I am going to see Steven in the next three years. Perhaps a combined three months. That including our wedding/honeymoon. I need something to do. Anything. So far I've been playing xbox 12 hours a day and am planning to go to the movies, by myself, on saturday. I am in desperate need of human interaction. Or just some drinking, that would do just fine.
