I was having a discussion about sex with a friend, and this suddenly came falling out:

"Its the most natural, incredible life affirming thing on the planet--so we spit on it in disdain. Our entire systems are hardwired for the desire and pursuit of it--so we punish anyone who expresses those desires. Why? Well, one would almost think we want to take our own damn selves out of the gene pool. Probably wouldn't be a bad thing."

Makes you think, doesn't it?

And then there's my mantra of late:

I will not care....

Maybe soon I'll believe it.
