So... I just finished repainting my nails while watching a movie.
It was one of the best movies I have seen in quite a while. I mean there are good movies, but this one... was awesome. It's a Japanese film called Battle Royale. If you haven't seen it before, it's about this Japanese law called Battle Royale where the government selects a class of children at random, take them to this island, give them rations and a weapon, and in three days they have to kill everyone off, or... the collar they have around their necks will explode and everyone will die. Of course, from the very beginning, I select the bonafide psycho as my favorite. I have never been so emotionally random while watching a film before. I teared up a few times, got excited by the murder scenes several times, it was just an honest to god roller coaster style film as far as emotions were concerned.
I definitely recommend this film to anyone who doesn't mind watching a subtitled film.

The first time I saw that, everyone was placing bets on who would die first and who would live. I picked the psycho girl to win ( that actress almost always plays a psycho in every movie I've seen her in) . It is a good movie but it shouldn't have ended like that.

There is definetly something in Takeshi Kitano movies ..the sequal to battle royale isn't as good but check out hana-bi bit different but you might like it
