Again with the teacher thing. I hate her. My peer review partner hates her, and my friend who is taking the class as well, hates her. The stupid online shit is ridiculous, and only the three of us have complained about it.

This is in the general questions and concerns forum:

Meg:
It is impossible to do the conferences, papers and read all the required readings!

Teacher:
Try to pace yourself so that you do the readings before the face to face class on Tuesday; start your papers early; and post to the conferences during the regularly scheduled Thursday class (one hour and a half should be ample time to post to the required 2-3 conferences per week). I hope this helps!

Kris:
I agree with Megan that the workload for this class is difficult to manage. The only other thing that I will add is that it is very frustrating to have so many different dates for when conferences and responses are due. I believe it would be easier to remember if they corresponded with the class times. For instance, response to the conference would be due Thursday (after Tuesday's class) and peer response due by Tuesday's class. I was especially irritated last week when there were three different due dates! (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

Me:
I concur with both Megan and Kristen. I'm getting really frustrated with the multiple due dates. The first class we were told that everything online would be due on Thursdays. First of all, none of us purposely signed on for a hybrid course, so I think at least adhering to the Thursday and Saturday due dates would be a good way to keep us all on track. Secondly, the work load is ridiculous. We spend more time reading, completing the assignments and doing these online conferences then we actually would if we had a class on Thursday. And honestly, I don't think any other student cares about another's work or what they had to say. I understand if you want someone to help you with your work, or to provide feedback, or to use as an editor on your work, but it shouldn't be mandatory to pass the cours. The work is written and completed for the teacher, not for other students, therefore, it should be only mandatory that the teacher sees and receives the work.

Am I being the vindictive, asshole student who enjoys ripping their teacher to threads?
I think I might be.
What do you think?
gfys:
No, based off of that nonsense it appears as though you have a horrible teacher and a horrible class?? ONe class you can do it

I think you're justified in your statement and actions. Sounds like the teacher is a bitch who expects way too much.
