I swear, these movies never disappoint me (which is so rare for a novel turned movie these days). And I just feel so totally immersed in the magical world of HP. So much action, so much depth. And damnit I was able to hold back my tears so many times and it wasn't until
And its funny because I already know what's going to happen...but it still gets to me anyhow. Haha, I am SUCH a nerd, lmao. Anyway...looking forward to Pt. 2, though I'm not ready to face the realization that this is the end of the series...no more Ron Weasley (I've had a thing for him since the beginning and he just gets hotter as he gets older....Fred and George are looking pretty good now too...red heads just DO it for me. )
And while I'm on the subject of movies...I'm so excited for Breaking Dawn.
Now this one could go either way. Twilight the movie blew...but I'll blame it on the low budget. Once the studio saw what a hit the first one was, the budget increased and with it the quality of each movie. Eclipse was fan-fucking-tastic! Breaking Dawn is my favorite of the series so I really really hope they do it well and try not to leave anything out. *fingers crossed* I'm also looking forward to The Green Hornet as well as the Green Lantern (though the jury is still out as to whether the right casting decisions were made on that one.) But perhaps the most exciting preview I've seen lately was this:
Red Riding Hood. Two things about me: 1, I love fairy tales (both the originals and kid-friendly Disney versions) and 2, I love them even more when they've been twisted in to a new story from someone else's imagination. (Thus my obsession with the comic book Fables, which is about fairy tale characters who have been exiled from their homelands and are now living in modern-day New York City). So the movie Red Riding Hood looks very promising. Also on my list of must-see epic movies ofcourse:
Tangled (not quite epic, but hello...new Disney princess!),
Narnia,
and of course Tron:Legacy.
Starting with HP7, they all come out within one week of each other so I guess I'm going to be eating a lot of popcorn this holiday season. Can't wait!
