Bruises heal...cars can be replaced...but the people I love can't, so I feel blessed this morning to still have them in my life. Thanks to everyone for your concern and support on my last blog post. Its a fucked situation but I've gotten through worst...this will be no different.
So anyway, I was watching an old episode of the Super Mario Bros cartoon on DVD with my son. I play Mario games on my wii / ds all the time but it wasn't until just now I really thought about the premise: An Italian plumber from brooklyn and his brother hired to save a land of mushroom people who's princess is being held captive by a giant lizard... And then it hit me...my entire childhood was just one big acid trip!

The lego giraffe is a million times better in my opinion but it's soooo tall it's hard to get a good picture of so I didn't even bother this time.
