So what was supposed to be a study session for a midterm tomorrow turned in to me, 2 other designers, and pretty much the only cool merchandiser in the department talking about what kind of shop we are going to open in Portland.
We're going to find a big rad house to rent, and all live there, and on the ground floor, we're opening a shop and studio where we will sell (1) all our rad one-of-a-kind shit (2) even radder screen printed shirts and stuff [also, you can bring in your designs or ideas, and we'll screen print 'em for you] and (3) custom designed & custom fitted clothes... you can leave it up to us, or bring in your ideas, and we'll help bring them to life!! ...and we will not have SIZES in our shop... we'll have cute names for body shapes or something, maybe, but that's all a part of the charm, is tha since we sew it all right there, some of the pieces will be left unfinished, and you can come in the little back room, and we'll put that zipper in to fit you just right.
I'm all fucking excited about all this... I still don't really know what I am going to di with myself in 8 weeks... EIGHT WEEKS!! when I graduate... Holy shit. That's so soon...
