OHmaGOD! i just got back from the woo woo michigan womyn's music fest. Nothing against woo woo naked dancing labia around a fire. I mean some bitches had to get all woo woo for us to have this wonderful space. I'm a worker, and have been for a few years. in case you haven't heard. mwmf is a week long festival for women only. women's music, crafts, workshops. everything from belly dancing to internalized sexism. it's great. being a worker is better. because i get to stay and play longer. make more connections. get sick, freeze my ass of, have no dry cloths, have people to sleep in my tent with me for warmth. .. "yeah I have a down comforter, sure it's really warm" and "yeah I guess we can make-out" whatever just give me a warm soft body, and I'll sleep like a baby. Who wouldn't? Anyway, I got back like and hour ago, I think I have a fever, and some form of virus in my throat ... mmm really sexy! you betcha. I miss it so much already, all the colorful wonderful people, the tofu, and the women giving me TEA... I'm all for the homeopathic stuff, when it works. but come on ladies, bring on the extra strength Tylenol now please. Anyway, beside being sick, working my ass off, i had the best time ever. My job everyday was worker child care, and performer childcare. so I took care of babies, and like 13 toddlers, and it was great. Kids rock, they are so real. I also set up and take down big tents, back our inventory, nail rugs to the ground, build stages, party, smoke drink, dance, dress up pretty, and make out, watch millions of shooting stars, watch women get spanked, flogged, hit. I learned to juggle and mold glass for earrings. err I miss it. Back to school work and freezing my ass off in Chicago.
