So yesterday was my birthday, and it was AWESOME. Pomfelo picked my friend Stephanie and me up and we went to the Blue Star, which was totally dead. So we headed to the Riverwalk area and the first bar we went to was...um...not our scene, so we left there after one drink and went to Dicks Last Resort. I love that frickin place. The staff is supposed to be rude and dickish, for example: the name the bouncer addressed me by was "Titties" haha They also make you giant condom shaped hats with insults on them.
So then we went to The Saint and watched a drag show, it was awesome. From there we went to Dad's karaoke bar and watched the incredible Pomfelo sing. I got hit on by a hottie with an amazing voice
So as they were closing down we went to Jim's which is a greasy spoon kind of place. They have these amazing deep fried mushrooms...mmmmmm.....
Anyway, my hangover didn't last anywhere near as long as I thought it would, only about 2 hours and I feel pretty awesome right now actually.
I had such a good time, I'm so excited to have friends again
