First published many moons ago, Death By Burlesque was considered cursed, after a number of those who read it met a grisly (yet glamourous) end. The book was then banned, all known copies were burned and, after a small amount of copies were found virtually unscathed, was then re-released to a less superstitious world... coincidentally, just as a burlesque revival has swept the globe.
Where the book came from, and who originally wrote it is still unknown- some say it was penned by an anonymous collector of wisdom, some say it was written by Mata Hari, who was executed shortly after being seen with the book...and some say it is just an elaborate hoax.
Whatever its origin, you can now purchase your own copy- there are a limited number of original copies, some torn from the clutches of many a beautiful & blood-splattered corpse, some saved from burning, but all with the original leather cover.
Death By Burlesque now Includes brand new illustrations by kate kamikaze, up-to-date words of wisdom from many modern and marvelous performers and, hopefully, no curses.
