I didnt get the job.
I got an email, and for some reason they sent it twice and rubbed it in a bit!
Im really disappointed but Im just gonna keep on applying and maybe one day someone will employ me to do something Im actually good at and interested in.
Tomorow Im playing a festival in London, and my band have been put right before my exes band in the line up.
It will be horrible.
Any advice on what to do in such a situation greatly appreciated!
And now for some good news- today at my temping job I did a massive mathmatical sum, and all my numbers matched up. If you know me, youll know what issues I have with numbers and youll know how cool it must be for me to do maths and get it right!
I let out a little yelp of joy at my little desk in the corner.
On Wednesday night I managed to wangle a free ticket to see Bright Eyes, had a laughing fit when I realised what a cliched person I was- seeing bright eyes after being dumped so recently, and me and my friend got told off by some random old annoying bloke for talking.
bumped into some friends too which was nice, and spilt a drink down my new dress.
all in all, a pretty normal kate night out.

really sorry to hear about your job, people are idiots aren't they? you'll just have to keep on trying. i'm sure you'll get a good job one day. what kind of music do you play? i'm learning how to play the guitar again at the mo, i'm doing pretty well i think.
