some things!

listening to: dying on the vine by john cale. (and too much neon bible and motown!)
reading: stephen fry, moab is my washpot.
watching: mock the week on youtube. hilarious!

also, i have tickets to see shellac in may. itll be my 3rd time seeing them and im SO excited.
such an amazing live band.
here is a story i can tell about shellac;
i first saw them very soon after splitting horribly with my boyfriend, and first love, of three years.
i knew he was going, and with a brand new girl...but i didnt think id see him there. but i did- he was standing with his arms around his new girlfriend right infront of me.
i went and bought a strong drink, and just hoped and prayed theyd play Prayer To God. (if youve ever been dumped for someone else, this is the best song ever)
but they didnt play it.
they did however play it the second time i saw them, when he wasnt there.

this time, ill be seeing shellac with my man, and the whole nasty emotion that came with prayer to god will be forgotten. hence it will be even more awesome.
